Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Rehab

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Job Description

Join our dedicated team in an Inpatient Rehab unit where you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients with rehabilitation needs. This role requires skilled nursing abilities and the capacity to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to a caseload of patients with rehab and medical-surgical needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Utilize equipment such as mechanical lifts and IV pumps to assist in patient care.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care plans.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation goals and health maintenance.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have current RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in rehab and medical-surgical nursing is a must.
• IV experience is required.
• Preferred: Wound care experience.
