Cardiovascular Sonographer (Echo Tech) MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire Echocardiography Technologist (Echo Tech) to join their client's team within an acute-care hospital setting near San Jose, California!

Key Responsibilities for Echocardiography Technologist:

• Perform a range of diagnostic echocardiographic exams, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiograms.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound and diagnostic imaging equipment to capture high-quality images for physician review.
• Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding of the process.
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and healthcare providers to deliver accurate and timely imaging results.
• Maintain patient records with attention to detail and in compliance with hospital standards.
• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

Echocardiography Technologist Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Echocardiography program is required.
• Current registration with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) in echocardiography is required.
• BLS certification must be completed prior to starting.
• Prior experience in echocardiography within an acute-care hospital setting is highly preferred.
