The RN ensures accurate documentation, develops and implements care plans, modifies care based on evaluations, and prioritizes patient and employee safety. This role involves collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality care. Required Qualifications: Minimum one (1) year of relevant nursing experience. ASN degree. Illinois state RN License in good standing. BLS certification (American Heart Association). ACLS certification (American Heart Association). Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree. Additional Information: Manage care for acute and chronically ill cardiac and pulmonary patients. Collaboratively design and maintain care plans with patients and families. Administer medications and evaluate their effects. Prepare patients for procedures, manage pain, perform IV venipuncture, and administer blood. Ensure proper documentation using EMR systems. Provide discharge instructions for safe transitions from the hospital. Participate in team huddles and professional communication with team members.
