Data Annotation Specialist

Supporting the quality assurance of data projects, the full-time remote Data Annotation Specialist will design and automate QA workflows, manage labeling interfaces, and coordinate freelance annotators while ensuring clarity in annotation guidelines. Key responsibilities Design, automate, and run QA workflows, including metrics and quality dashboards Build and maintain labeling interfaces in Label Studio, refining layouts and improving efficiency Source, onboard, and coordinate freelance annotators, tracking deadlines and deliverables Required qualifications Experience with data analysis, including spreadsheet modeling and quality metrics interpretation Strong written communication skills for creating clear annotation guidelines Proven ability to coordinate projects and meet deadlines with various stakeholders Self-directed with the ability to manage responsibilities independently Fluency in English and at least one additional language: Italian, Portuguese, or Polish
