If you’re ready to learn fast and help shape what’s next, you’ll fit right in.About the roleIn this role, you will direct software and agentic AI development, delivery, and support efforts for highly scalable, high-performing AI agent solutions across the Product-to-Market (P2M) value stream, in an Agile work environment, and produce and deliver code and/or test cases using Agile practices. You will provide leadership and direction to technical managers, architects, agent engineers, quality assurance engineers, developers, and other technologists in resolving critical production issues to help simplify and improve business processes through agentic AI and automation. You are a technical expert and will lead through the requirements gathering, design, development, evaluation, deployment, and support phases of a product. You will establish operational objectives and assignments for managers across related departments or functional units.What you'll doLeads and influences the vision of the product by contributing to software and agentic AI design and architecture that result in high-performing, reliable technologyDevelop and enhance software and AI agents to solve complex business problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth knowledge of the company, keeping customer and business-user experience at the forefrontLead and model a DevOps mindset by applying automation, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and evaluation-gated release practices in everything we doFoster innovation acting as a change agent to support business growth, reduce operational costs, and improve service levels by applying best practices and learning from emerging AI and agentic technologiesProvide engineering leadership, collaborating and influencing at senior levelsThought leader, contributing to the development of methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for projects, programs, and people in projects and assignments of diverse scopeLead and facilitate teams — including a mix of FTE and contractor talent — creating a highly collaborative environmentWho you areExperience leading teams, including establishing organizational goals aligned with product vision to achieve business successStrong communication skills with proven ability to guide senior levels and cross-functional teams, both internal and external, including delivery and vendor partnersPossesses deep technical knowledge and years of software development experience, including delivering large-scale applications, continuous integration/delivery practices, and production AI/agentic systemsExpert knowledge of modern software and AI platforms and languages such as Python, cloud-native AI/agent platforms (e.g., Google Cloud / Vertex AI), and emerging agentic frameworks and trendsStrategic thought leader and problem solver who can lead through others, developing creative solutions12+ years in technology/data program delivery, including 5+ years at a senior delivery-leadership level with direct people managementDemonstrated ownership of a business transformation, not just a technology rollout — accountable for outcomes and adoption, not only shipped featuresExperience delivering through a phase-gated or maturity-staged model across multiple parallel workstreamsRigorous dependency and risk management across parallel, interdependent teams; comfortable holding a quality gate even under schedule pressureFluency running mixed internal/vendor delivery models, including managed-service-provider relationships, with clear standards for what stays in-house versus what's outsourcedBudget ownership — program financials, headcount planning, and the internal approval processes that come with a function this sizeEnough technical fluency in agentic/AI delivery to hold engineering accountable without needing to be hands-onStrong risk-forward reporting discipline — surfaces problems plainly and early rather than softening status for senior audiencesPreferred qualificationsRetail, merchandising, or P2M value-chain domain exposure; ability to sit credibly with brand and merchant stakeholdersPrior experience specifically with agentic or generative-AI delivery lifecycles, as opposed to traditional software delivery onlyExperience standing up or scaling a global capability center / offshore delivery modelChange-management or adoption-driving experience for a business transformationRequired educationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. At this level, 12+ years of progressively senior delivery leadership with demonstrated program ownership can substitute for the specific degree requirement.Preferred: MBA or Master's degree in a technical or business discipline; formal program/delivery credentials (e.g., PMP, SAFe) are a plus, not a substitute for the experience bar.Salary Range: $209,700.00 - $272,600.00Employee pay will vary based on factors such as qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies and work location.
