Acquisition Specialist – Northern Virginia Accenture Federal Services is seeking an Acquisition Specialist to support our client in the Northern VA area. As an Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing the end‑to‑end procurement process, ensuring that goods and services are sourced efficiently and cost‑effectively. Responsibilities Identifying potential suppliers Negotiating contracts Maintaining strong vendor relationships to support organizational objectives Analyzing market trends, assessing supplier performance, and coordinating with internal teams to align procurement strategies with business needs Streamlining purchasing activities and optimizing supply chain operations Qualifications 2 years of experience with procurement software and/or logistics tracking tools Familiarity with contract management platforms, supplier evaluation frameworks, and data analysis tools Experience in managing logistics operations, overseeing shipment schedules, and resolving supply chain disruptions Bonus Points A background in negotiating with vendors, implementing cost‑saving initiatives, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams Familiarity with supply chain software Knowledge of inventory control systems Technical background Clearance Must have an active TS/SCI level clearance with a willingness to sit for a polygraph. Compensation Base pay range for this position in the listed locations is $100,200 - $203,400 USD.
