Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Star City Nursing and Rehabilitation in Virginia Beach, Virginia. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring the nutritional needs of our residents are met while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and sanitation. Responsibilities Assist with menu planning, food preparation, and food service to meet the dietary needs of our residents Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of food and snacks to residents Maintain a clean and sanitary environment in the kitchen and dining areas Label, date, and store food and supplies according to facility policies Assist with inventory control and ordering of food and supplies Collaborate with the dietary team to plan and implement special events and activities Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required 1 years of experience in food service or healthcare preferred, but not required Ability to lift, bend, and move equipment and supplies as needed Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information What We Offer A dynamic and supportive work environment with a team-oriented culture Opportunities for professional growth and development Competitive pay Note: Salary will be discussed during the interview process. #J-18808-Ljbffr
