Senior Accountant (Direct Hire)
Location: SW Portland/Tigard Triangle
Compensation: $75,000–$90,000 DOE
Schedule: Primarily onsite with some flexibility (TBD)
CV Resources is partnering with an established, rapidly growing financial services organization in the Portland metro area to identify a Senior Accountant for a direct hire opportunity. This is an excellent opportunity for a public accounting professional looking to transition into a collaborative, high-performing environment with outstanding long-term growth potential.
We're seeking a technically strong accountant who enjoys owning the month-end close process, partnering across departments, and contributing to process improvements in a fast-paced organization.
What You'll Do- Own key aspects of the monthly close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Perform technical accounting related to lease transactions and ensure compliance with ASC 842.
- Prepare financial analyses and variance reporting for leadership.
- Support annual audits and maintain strong internal controls.
- Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate accounting treatment and improve processes.
- Assist with special projects and help drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience , with public accounting experience strongly preferred.
- Lease accounting (ASC 842) experience is highly preferred.
- CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close.
- Advanced Excel skills and excellent analytical abilities.
