In addition to conducting complex inspections and preparing Xactimate-based scopes of work, the Lead Inspector helps ensure the team's work meets program compliance, quality, and documentation standards. This position may also support other Florida programs as our work expands. Serve as an experienced field resource for general contractors, helping resolve complex scope questions, construction issues, and change order considerations in coordination with the Deputy Construction Manager. Conduct in‑progress and final inspections to verify completed work meets approved scope, program specifications, and applicable building codes; document and communicate deficiencies. Maintain complete and audit‑ready project files for all assigned properties including photographs, inspection checklists, Xactimate estimates, completion reports, and sign‑off documentation. Assist with Davis‑Bacon Act compliance monitoring including certified payroll review, site labor interviews, and posting verification. Contribute to quality assurance and quality control activities; help prepare for federal monitoring visits and program audits. Share inspection production updates, deficiency trends, and GC performance observations with the Deputy Construction Manager or Construction Manager.
