Louisiana Healthcare Quality Specialist

Virtual Vocations Inc

To support healthcare quality initiatives, the full-time Louisiana Healthcare Quality Specialist will plan, implement, and monitor projects while ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering timely reports in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Develops and distributes reports, logs, and related documents to meet project deadlines Plans and monitors activities to improve quality, processes, and efficiency within healthcare projects Researches and interprets laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify opportunities for improvement Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field, or Registered Nurse (RN) designation 1-3 years of relevant experience in healthcare or project management 1-2 years of experience in process improvement or quality assurance Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred Experience in quality improvement within hospitals, nursing homes, or outpatient clinics is preferred
