Graphic Artist

Create and visualize ideas graphically for documents, publications, and websites Provide end-users with recommendations and in-depth graphic artist support for developing documents, briefings, and websites without guidance Revise subject matter for graphic presentation to achieve customer intent, selecting materials, processes, and design formats without guidance Review layouts, sketches, and final plans for production and evaluate artistic media Consult with and advise customers concerning pending graphics, publications, and artwork, including cost estimates and artwork content Determine publication artwork requirements, including selection of ink, paper, and type style in conjunction with publication customers Coordinate production workflow of publications, including periodicals, brochures, and manuscripts Requirements Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph Minimum ten (10) years of experience as a graphic artist Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, art, or a related discipline; five (5) additional years of experience as a graphic artist may be substituted for a bachelor's degree Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in graphic design and artistic presentation, with a strong focus on customer collaboration and production workflow management.
