RN - NICU

NICU Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30

The NICU Registered Nurse will provide specialized care for infants in a Level II NICU environment, focusing on patients 32 weeks or greater. The nurse will attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries, and will manage interventions such as CPAP/BiPAP and feeding support. The position requires flexibility to float as needed within the unit.

• Attend vaginal and cesarean deliveries and provide immediate neonatal care.
• Administer CPAP/BiPAP and manage feeding tubes and syringe pumps.
• Perform neonatal dosage calculations and tube placements (oral/nasogastric/nasojejunal).
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Float between units as required based on staffing needs.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a NICU setting required.
• Current active compact licensure required at the time of submission.
• Certifications: BLS, NRP mandatory; CLS preferred.
• Previous charge experience is a plus.
