Shifts Available:
2:30 PM 11:00 PM
10:30 PM 7:00 AM

Every-other-weekend availability required for all contracted staff. Overtime opportunities available

Per Diem Opportunities:

• Flexible per diem scheduling available
• No every-other-weekend requirement for per diem staff
• Scheduling based on facility needs and staff availability

Job Description:
Client is seeking dependable, compassionate, and experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a long-term care setting.

Client is looking for CNAs who take pride in providing compassionate, respectful care and who understand the importance of helping residents maintain their comfort, dignity, safety, and independence.

CNA Responsibilities & Resident Care

• Provide hands-on direct care to residents according to their individual care plans.
• Assist residents with bathing and scheduled showers, including shower preparation, personal hygiene, drying, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide personal care, including oral care, hair care, skin care, and other hygiene needs.
• Assist with toileting, continence care, and changing briefs as needed.
• Assist residents with dressing and undressing.
• Assist with meals and feeding, including meal setup and feeding assistance when required.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, and mobility using appropriate equipment and safety procedures.
• Reposition residents as required to promote comfort and help maintain skin integrity.
• Take and record vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other information as directed.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond appropriately to resident needs.
• Observe residents for changes in condition, behavior, skin integrity, appetite, mobility, or other concerns and promptly report changes to the nurse.

• Assist with maintaining clean resident rooms, beds, and personal areas.
• Change bed linens and assist with other resident-care tasks as needed.
• Accurately document care provided during the shift.
• Follow infection-control, resident-safety, and facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain resident privacy, dignity, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, other CNAs, and members of the clinical care team.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry status
• Minimum of 6 months of CNA experience required
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Current physical examination
• Current 2-Step TB Test OR QuantiFERON-TB Gold blood test
• Ability to successfully complete required background checks and healthcare exclusion screenings
• Ability to successfully complete required drug screening
• Professional references
• Ability to complete a CNA skills/competency checklist
• Experience with PointClickCare or another electronic health record/documentation system is a plus.
• Must be dependable, professional, compassionate, and comfortable providing hands-on resident care.
