Medical Laboratory Scientist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist Shift: Night Shift | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM Schedule: 5 shifts per week | Every Other Weekend Required Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist for a night-shift contract opportunity in Elizabeth, NJ. The ideal candidate will have recent acute-care hospital laboratory experience and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment. Responsibilities: Perform high-complexity laboratory testing and analysis Work as a Generalist, including Blood Bank Perform testing across applicable laboratory departments Maintain quality control and follow laboratory procedures Operate and troubleshoot laboratory analyzers Accurately document and report test results Follow all safety, regulatory, and quality standards Requirements: Minimum 1 year of recent laboratory experience ASCP certification required Experience in an acute-care hospital laboratory preferred Generalist and Blood Bank experience required Experience with laboratory instrumentation preferred, including Beckman Coulter DxI, DxC, and DxH 600T Experience with Sunquest LIS Epic experience preferred Benefits: eligible employee’s comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans) supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance, and hospital indemnity) 401(k)-retirement savings life & disability insurance an employee assistance program legal support auto, home insurance pet insurance employee discounts with preferred vendors Pride Health is an equal opportunity employer.
