Your Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and elder groups using standardized assessment tools and observational methods.
• Create individualized treatment plans focusing on immediate and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing goals.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice use, and swallowing abilities.
• Work alongside an interdisciplinary team of physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, family members, and caregivers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Facilitate educational discussions with patients and their families to support progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Occasionally assist with inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the patient's journey.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation in accordance with all relevant guidelines and regulations.
• Engage in continuing education opportunities and collaborate with peers to remain at the forefront of the field.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Pathologist.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of starting employment.
