EHS Specialist

Job Description

A large client of Insight Global is seeking an EHS specialist on a contract basis to join their team in McPherson, Kansas. Their day-to-day responsibilities will include identifying and ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety standards, overseeing daily EHS activities including hazardous, biological, and special process safety activities, and participating in internal and external EHS audits and inspections. The average pay for this role depends on experience and ranges between $28-50hr.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a Science related field (Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, Chemical engineering, etc.)

• ability to work full time onsite out of the facility in McPherson, Kansas

• previous industrial hygiene or environmental health and safety experience

• experience updating SOPs and running requirements
