Role Summary The Installation Foreman will be responsible for overseeing technical installations on various projects, ensuring all work is completed effectively and efficiently. This hands‑on position involves supervising a crew while also executing tasks personally. Your contributions will be vital to our mission of pursuing building perfection. Key Responsibilities Manage small teams performing Intelligent Integration work. Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings. Act as a liaison with construction operations teams, trade partners, and clients. Plan and schedule work scopes while ordering necessary materials to meet budget and timeline goals. Oversee a variety of technical installations, including cable installation, fiber optic splicing, and communication room setups. Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more technical systems, including cable, fire alarm, security, and network infrastructure. Track and report labor hours and ensure proper maintenance of tools and equipment. Lead safety procedures and ensure compliance with safety plans. Document crew productivity and communicate effectively with suppliers for timely material delivery. Facilitate inspections related to your work. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required; Vocational/Technical degree preferred. 1+ years of commercial construction experience; 2+ years of field supervision experience required. BICSI certification or 4 years of cable pulling experience is a plus. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of project management software. Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve production goals. Strong knowledge in technical systems such as fire alarm, security, and building automation. Ability to read and understand technical plans and specifications. Experience in applying Lean processes for enhanced efficiency. Working Environment Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and may require travel. Exposure to varying weather conditions is expected, as well as the possibility of working non‑traditional hours.
