What's your day like?As a Part-Time Bakery Clerk at Brookhaven Market, you'll be the friendly face assisting customers with their delicious bakery selections, ensuring they leave with not just a treat but a smile! You'll share your knowledge about ingredients and product options, guiding them in their choices. Keeping our bakery display area clean and organized is key, so you'll ensure that everything looks as appetizing as it tastes! With fresh baked goods stocked and accurately labeled, you'll package and prepare items for sale, all while handling customer transactions with ease.
You'll also support our bakery team in daily operations, including inventory management and product rotation. Most importantly, your dedication to providing exceptional service will maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, making each visit a delightful experience for our valued patrons!
Are you the Bakery Clerk we're looking for?Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Must be 18 or older to use the bread slicer
- Previous experience in a bakery or grocery store setting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends and holidays.
