Travel Med/Surg RN

This is a 13-week contract position.

Days, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with floating and call required.

We are seeking an experienced Med/Surg RN to provide general nursing duties in a medical-surgical inpatient nursing unit, with occasional non-critical pediatric patients. The position involves delivering high-quality patient care and adhering to hospital protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for medical-surgical patients.
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate patient records using MedHost EMR.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
• Must have a valid RN license and be registered with the state of New Mexico.
• Fingerprints required for all NM travelers.
