KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DECISIONS

Perform analytical laboratory testing according to established company procedures, policies, ISO requirements, and applicable legal requirements. Maintain safety and product integrity as primary responsibilities while performing all laboratory duties in an ethical and professional manner. Work effectively within a team environment while taking responsibility for laboratory equipment and instrumentation. Perform setup, operation, calibration, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation as required by testing methods and instrument parameters. Conduct analytical testing to support Production, AML, and Product Development Departments , including raw material, in-process, and finished-product testing. Review and understand analytical methods, MOC procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring all current procedures are followed. Provide analytical support to customers, Production, and Research Departments. Accurately operate the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to track and document laboratory samples. Maintain accurate and complete laboratory documentation and testing records. Demonstrate a methodical, detail-oriented approach to analytical testing and laboratory procedures. Apply mechanical aptitude when operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting laboratory equipment. More experienced analysts may be responsible for training and mentoring new or less-experienced analysts , as determined by the Analytical Lab Manager. Skills/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry required. Analytical laboratory experience preferred. Experience with ICP-OES, ICP-MS, and/or NMR instrumentation preferred, but not required. Experience with laboratory instrumentation setup, operation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting preferred. Working knowledge of LIMS preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established analytical methods and SOPs. Methodical, organized, and mechanically inclined. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
