In this role, you will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients. This is a that can make a significant impact on people’s lives, helping them identify underlying conditions and stay healthy. Responsibilities Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency Collect patients’ personal information Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood and collect urine Correctly label samples and send them for testing Qualifications Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician Phlebotomy diploma required Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples Strong computer and data entry skills Schedule Monday/ Wednesday/ Thursday @3pm-7pm #J-18808-Ljbffr Med Screen Laboratories Inc
