Position Description: Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for SmartMED Drive-Thru Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Physician Assistant (PA) Reports to: Medical Director Location: ROSWELL, GA PART-TIME Hours: (PRN) Monday - Friday 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM Position Description: SmartMED Drive-Thru is seeking an energetic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our award-winning team during the fall and winter months. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to all patients over one year of age, in our fast-paced drive-thru setting. You will assess, diagnose, and treat a variety of acute and non-life-threatening illnesses, injuries, and conditions. During flu season, the medical teams can evaluate and treat upwards of 100 patients per day in the drive-thru setting. In this position, you'll work with a highly skilled team to efficiently care for the people in our community. Because we are a drive-thru medical clinic, applicants will need to be comfortable working outdoors (under the canopy) to care for patients. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking medical histories, performing physical exams, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests. Diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions including minor injuries, infections, and acute illnesses. Prescribe medications and provide patient education on treatment plans, follow-up care, and preventative health practices. Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care. Demonstrate the ability to manage patient flow efficiently while maintaining a high level of care and patient satisfaction. Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records in accordance with clinic policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications: Master's degree in Nursing (FNP) or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program. Current and unrestricted FNP or PA license in GA National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. Current BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or a similar fast-paced setting is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first approach to care. Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaborative relationships with team members. Skills & Competencies: Friendly, approachable, and dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. Efficient in managing multiple patients in a high-volume environment without sacrificing quality of care. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and maintaining accurate documentation.
