Certified Surgical Technologist Join LewisGale Regional Health System as a Certified Surgical Technologist and play a vital role in patient care during surgical procedures. Job Summary The OR Scrub Tech/Surgical Technologist supports the OR Registered Nurse and provides sterile scrub service for patients undergoing surgery within the OR suite. \ Set up the sterile surgical field using aseptic technique and knowledge of anatomy, instrumentation, suturing, passing, dissecting, retracting, and wound closure. Assist the circulating RN with OR set up, equipment, and patient positioning. Perform supply management duties and break down the instrument table. Qualifications Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or equivalent training (required). Certified Surgical Technologist and licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia (required). Basic Cardiac Life Support certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
