You'll serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, confidently leading conversations, shaping recommendations, and ensuring strategy translates into action across paid, owned, and earned channels.This role is ideal for someone who can zoom out to architect the strategy while staying close enough to execution to ensure quality, momentum, and results.Key Responsibilities:Lead strategic workstreamsTake ownership of larger projects or accounts, leading strategy from discovery through execution and optimizationDevelop strategic frameworks that connect business objectives to marketing approach, channel mix, and measurementTranslate complex business challenges into clear, actionable strategic direction for clients and internal teamsLead the creation of high-impact briefs that align creative, media, data, and activation partnersServe as a senior, day-to-day strategic partner to client stakeholdersLead client meetings, working sessions, and presentations with confidence and clarityAnticipate client needs, proactively surface opportunities or risks, and guide decision-making in ambiguous momentsEnsure workstreams remain aligned to scope, priorities, and business impactAct as the connective tissue across strategy, creative, activation, and analytics teamsEnsure timelines, deliverables, and dependencies are clearly defined and actively managedOptimize ways of working across teams to improve efficiency, clarity, and output qualityLead the synthesis of performance data, consumer insights, and competitive research into cohesive narrativesDefine and evolve KPIs, measurement frameworks, and success metrics across initiativesCraft compelling strategic stories that inspire confidence, align teams, and move clients to actionBegin mentoring junior strategy team members, providing guidance on thinking, structure, and client communicationDelegate work thoughtfully, balancing clear direction with autonomy to support team growthModel strong ownership, accountability, and professionalism across engagementsIdentify risks early and lead the development of practical, creative solutionsMake informed decisions that balance client success, team capacity, and operational realitiesMaintain a high bar for quality, clarity, and follow-through in all workRequirements:Skills, Knowledge & Qualifications:6+ years of experience in marketing strategy, brand strategy, or digital consulting, ideally in an agency or client-facing environmentProven experience leading integrated marketing strategies across paid, owned, and earned channelsStrong comfort leading client conversations, presentations, and strategic working sessionsExperience developing strategic frameworks, briefs, and measurement approaches that inform executionDemonstrated ability to manage complexity, ambiguity, and multiple priorities with confidenceStrong project leadership skills with an eye toward both detail and big-picture impactProficiency in Google Workspace (Slides, Docs, Sheets, Drive) and collaborative toolsReporting Relationship: Strategy DirectorEducation & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.Location: This role is based in North Carolina, NC with a hybrid schedule of three in-office days (T-TH) and two remote days (M-F) each week.Salary Description $95,000- $115,000+ benefits & bonus eligibility
