DETAILS ABOUT THIS POSITION:

Hourly range: Step 120.65 - Step 8 $29.06 (Initial salary placement for this position is from Step 1 to Step 3, depending on the amount of reasonably related experience) Length of Work Year: M-F /12 Months Location: DEC - Purchasing Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience: One (1) year of experience operating a light or medium delivery vehicle. Possession of a valid and appropriate California Driver’s License Methods used in shipping, receiving, postage, mail and processing supplies and equipment. Physical aspects of storage of materials. Delivery vehicle operation and routine maintenance. Appropriate techniques for lifing and/or carrying supplies. Basic arithmetic and clerical skills. Safe work practices. Have an acceptable driving record and qualify for insurability by the District’s insurance carrier; all applicable state and federal licensing requirements.
