We Are Hiring Specialty : Gastroenterology Schedule : PRN; primarily weekend coverage Practice Detail : 2 Physicians; 2 APP's EMR System : Cerner Facility : Ascension Sacred Heart Location : Pensacola This job location currently located in a Health Professional Shortage Areas (HPSAs) and/or Medically Underserved Areas/Populations (MUA/P) Shortage Designation Type. What You Will Do Ascension Sacred Heart is looking for a certified Gastroenterology APP (will accept both PA and NP applicants) to cover PRN shifts at our Level I Trauma Center in Pensacola, Florida. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension to cover primarily weekend shifts (roughly 4 days per month) with potential for some weekdays from time to time. Position Highlights Level I Trauma Located on the beautiful Gulf Coast of FL Growing GI practice with subspecialty support 2 weekends per month with potential for some weekdays primarily inpatient rounding/consults GI experience strongly preferred What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Master's degree of Nursing required.
