Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist, you will work onsite in our modern clinic that is designed for optimal patient engagement and recovery. The clinic is equipped with the latest therapy equipment, and you will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists. Your typical work hours will be Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a balanced professional life.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess individual patient conditions and develop tailored therapy plans that address specific orthopedic needs.
• Implement treatment modalities including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and patient education to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and patient feedback.
• Provide guidance on fitness and wellness regimens that align with recovery goals, creating a path for sustained health beyond rehabilitation.
• Foster strong therapeutic alliances with patients, motivating them throughout their recovery journeys.
• Maintain accurate patient records using our EMR software, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and enhancing interdisciplinary communication.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and stay current with emerging techniques in orthopedic physical therapy to continuously elevate care quality.
• Collaborate with team members to provide holistic care that prioritizes patient engagement, education, and empowerment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with an orthopedic patient population, including individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role is crucial in helping these patients restore function and independence through effective rehabilitation strategies. Your approach will be patient-centered, focusing on their unique history and specific goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with a clean record free from sanctions.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in exercise prescription.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, to enhance treatment documentation and patient tracking.
• A commitment to continuing education in evidence-based practices to support the highest standards of care.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient orthopedic clinic setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse patient load while maintaining high-quality care standards.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 , commensurate with experience.
