A top-tier global law firm is seeking a Fund Formation Paralegal to join the team in Chicago, IL. Who You Are You have a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of fund formation experience in a paralegal capacity Paralegal certification, preferred Familiar with documentation used in private fund and investment vehicle structures Knowledge of federal and state securities rules related to private offerings Strong organizational, proofreading, and written communication skills WhatYou’llDo Support attorneys advising venture capital and investment fund clients Coordinate documentation used toestestand maintain investment entities Draft and organize materials related to investor participation and fund governance Review investor onboarding materials for eligibility and compliance Assist with securities law research and preparation of required regulatory notices Compile documentation supporting diligence efforts and attorney analysis Assist with regulatory reporting tied to venture fund public company holdings Maintain accurate time entries and support general administrative needs What Success Looks Like Fund-related documentation and filings are accurate and completed on schedule Attorneys receive reliable support across multiple matters Investor and regulatory materials are organized and well maintained Work is delivered with strong attention to detail and professionalism Deadlines and administrative responsibilities are handled consistently Salary Range: $65,000 – 115,000 annually, based on experience Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid Gainor is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
