As an Activity Aide, you will play a vital role in planning, leading, and supporting recreational and therapeutic activities that promote physical, mental, and social well-being. • Assist in planning and facilitating a variety of recreational, social, and therapeutic activities tailored to the interests and abilities of residents.
• Engage residents in group and individual activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment during all activities.
• Document participation and progress of residents in activities accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and family members to meet residents’ needs and preferences.
• Set up and clean activity areas and materials as needed.
• Encourage residents' independence and participation to enhance their quality of life.

Requirements

• Previous experience in recreational therapy, activities coordination, or related fields preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient attitude.
• Creativity and enthusiasm to develop engaging and diverse activities.
• Ability to work effectively with elderly or special needs populations.
• Physical ability to assist in activities and set up required materials.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Commitment to promoting a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all residents.
