Physical Therapist - School Setting in Fishers, IN

Job Description

Make an impact supporting students from PreK-12th grade as a Physical Therapist in a dynamic school environment. This flexible, contract position offers invaluable opportunities to facilitate student success in both academic and functional settings. Working part-time, you’ll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans that help each student thrive.

Qualifications:

Valid Physical Therapy license in Indiana (IN PT License)
Experience or interest in school-based pediatric therapy preferred
Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy services to PreK-12 students in accordance with individualized education programs (IEPs)
Perform assessments and write progress reports for goal planning and documentation
Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to support student progress
Adapt interventions and resources to support a diverse caseload
Participate in IEP meetings and help inform team decision-making
Travel to assigned school sites as needed for service delivery
