Kitchen Staff PositionMintahoe Catering & Events is seeking a dependable kitchen staff team member to support daily meal preparation and food service for residents at the Leo C. Burns Residence. This is a hands-on position responsible for food prep, meal service, cleaning, and maintaining a safe, organized kitchen.If you enjoy working as part of a team and take pride in preparing quality meals, we'd love to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesFood Preparation & ServiceAssist with food preparation and meal production according to established menusSupport meal service to ensure timely and accurate delivery of mealsPrepare and portion food items in accordance with production standardsAssist with pre-meal setup and post-meal service activitiesInventory & ReceivingAssist with inventory management and stock rotationReceive and store food deliveries in accordance with food safety guidelinesMonitor product levels and communicate needs to supervisorsSanitation & CleaningMaintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, storage, and dining areasPerform daily cleaning and closing dutiesFollow proper procedures for handling leftovers and stored food itemsOperational SupportSupport overall kitchen operations to ensure efficient daily serviceFollow established schedules and operational proceduresCommunicate with team members and supervisors regarding daily needsRequirementsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDPrevious kitchen or food service experience preferredExperience in a healthcare, senior living, or licensed food service environment is a plusReliable, organized, and able to work well on a teamStrong attention to detail and commitment to food safetyPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to lift and carry up to 50 poundsComfortable performing repetitive kitchen tasksWork EnvironmentWork is performed in a licensed food service and kitchen environment. Employees may be exposed to heat, cold, and kitchen equipment. The role requires adherence to strict food safety and sanitation standards.Work ScheduleThis is a full-time position.
