This role is crucial in preventing infections and ensuring patient safety by maintaining strict sterilization standards.QualificationsJob Requirements:High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.Preferred Job Requirements:Completion of a Sterile Processing Technician certification program.Certification through CBSPD (Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution) or IAHCSMM (International Association of Healthcare Central Service Materiel Management)
