Adventist Health Sonora is seeking an Interventional Cardiologis t to join our cardiology team in building a program in a community with a great need

• Join an established non-interventional cardiologist and two nurse practitioners
\n
• Brand new state of the art Cath-lab and Interventional Cardiology program
\n
• Opportunity to help grow interventional cardiology program
\n

Responsibilities:

Intra-arterial lines insertion and management
\n Percutaneous coronary intervention, cardiac catheterization and angiography
\n Pericardiocentesis
\n Echocardiography Interpretation
\n Temporary trans venous pacemaker placement
\n Stress test interpretation
\n Fluoroscopy privileges and certification;
\n Central venous line insertion and management
\n Interpret EKGs
\n Debulking devices including CSI atherectomy, rotablator, laser Angiojet for intervention for cardiovascular diseases
\n Interpret holter monitors
\n Incumbent will be expected to practice in accordance with professional standards, core values, and with a commitment to service excellence
\n Intra-aortic balloon pump insertion and management;
\n Peripheral arterial interventions
\n Arterial puncture

Requirements:

Experience preferred, but not required
\n Fellowship trained and BC/ BE in Interventional Cardiology;
\n At least Level 2 training in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography & preferably
\n vascular ultrasonography;
\n Level 3 training in cardiac catherization and intervention, peripheral
\n interventional training is preferred but not required
\n Additional training in cardiac MRI/CT a plus
\n Candidate must be BC/BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospitals medical staff credentialing standards.

Wage Scale: $540,000 - $794,248/year
