Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Experience with da Vinci robotics required
• Orthopedic surgery experience required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced perioperative and surgical nursing environment
• Vascular surgery experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Support a broad range of surgical procedures, including cases outside LVADs, transplants, and pediatric patients under 14 years of age
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and OR staff to promote safe, efficient case flow
• Maintain readiness for complex robotic surgery and orthopedic cases
• Document patient care and workflow accurately in the EMR/EHR, including EPIC
• Participate in a rotating call schedule as needed, with 3 to 6 call shifts per month
