Electrical Engineer – Industrial Controls & AutomationNextStep Recruiting has partnered with a rapidly growing industrial solutions organization to identify an Electrical Engineer – Industrial Controls & Automation in Grapevine, TX. This role is 100% onsite and will support the design and development of electrical systems, control panels, and automation solutions for industrial equipment.This position is ideal for an electrical engineer who enjoys hands-on design work and wants significant exposure to projects from initial concept through fabrication and implementation. The right candidate is strong in AutoCAD, understands electrical controls and switchgear, and can confidently interpret and develop electrical drawings and schematics.Required:Strong AutoCAD experience within electrical engineering or industrial controlsHands-on experience designing electrical control panels, switchgear, or related electrical systemsAbility to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematicsElectrical engineering background with a strong understanding of industrial electrical and control systemsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to work closely with engineering, fabrication, and project teamsPreferred:Experience with PLC programming, HMI development, or industrial automation systemsKnowledge of low- or medium-voltage electrical systems and applicable electrical codes and standardsExperience developing electrical drawings, panel layouts, BOMs, and engineering documentationExposure to industrial equipment, data center infrastructure, packaged systems, or similar environmentsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is a plusNextStep Recruiting provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, or applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location where the company has facilities.
