Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail pharmacist opportunity is available to cover a maternity leave from December 2026 through February 2027 in Kennard, TX. This contract position offers flexibility in scheduling within store hours from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with two shifts available and options to adjust shift lengths to suit your needs.

Schedule/Hours:

• 1st Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM (with options to end earlier at 4:30 PM or 4:00 PM)
• 2nd Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (with options to end earlier at 5:30 PM or 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold core company values and deliver exceptional customer service aligned with mission standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant government regulations, including HIPAA and pharmacy laws.
• Perform final verification of all prescriptions authored by physicians or authorized prescribers.
• Provide detailed drug information such as interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage guidance to both patients and prescribers.
• Maintain quality assurance measures related to controlled substance security and hazardous drug disposal.
• Handle pharmacist-level phone inquiries, retrieve messages, and manage voicemail prescriptions promptly.
• Conduct patient counseling when required or requested.
• Manage customer conflicts professionally both in person and via phone.
• This role does not require vaccination administration or medication therapy management (MTM) services.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent retail pharmacy experience.
• A current, clear, and active Texas pharmacist license.
