FLEET SERVICES MECHANIC

FLEET SERVICES MECHANIC
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years' experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, or completion of technical training in vehicle and equipment repair.
- Valid North Carolina Commercial Driver's License (with passenger and tanker endorsements) with a good driving record.
- Ability to obtain an ASE & EVT certification, along with State Inspection certification.
- Self-starter with strong leadership qualities and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles, fire apparatus, or construction equipment.
- Advanced knowledge of drivability and diagnostic systems.
- Welding and fabrication experience are a plus.
