Make a positive impact in education as a Paraprofessional / Classroom Assistant, serving as an Onsite Facilitator for a Virtual Teacher. This contract positions you to work with a dedicated Drop Out Recovery Program near Kent, OH, focusing on supporting high school students in a classroom environment. Your role is crucial in providing hands-on assistance and promoting a supportive learning atmosphere for students with behavioral needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Hold a valid ODE Paraprofessional credential or certification
• Proven experience assisting students in school settings, especially those requiring behavioral support
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to foster a positive learning experience
• Reliable and adaptable, comfortable working independently alongside virtual instruction

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the day-to-day operations of a high school classroom led virtually by a certified teacher
• Provide direct support and guidance to students, encouraging engagement and academic success
• Manage classroom behavior and implement strategies that ensure a positive and productive environment
• Maintain communication with teaching staff and school administration regarding student progress and ongoing needs
• Support the mission of the Drop Out Recovery Program to help students succeed and stay on track toward graduation

Role Details:

• Full-time position: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Start date as soon as possible through June 22, 2026
• Engaged with high school students in a supportive academic setting
