Remote Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) - Full-Time/Part-Time

Position Overview

The King Rail Youth & Family Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dynamic team in a fully remote capacity. This position is available for both full-time and part-time professionals who are committed to providing exceptional mental health care. As an LPC, you will be trusted with the responsibility of delivering personalized therapy services aimed at improving the mental wellness of our clients in the San Angelo, Texas area.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations for clients to develop individualized treatment plans based on their unique needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused techniques to individuals, families, and groups.
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in adherence to regulatory standards and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to remain current with advancements in mental health practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and comprehensive client care, enhancing the overall therapeutic experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a counselor at King Rail, you will work with a diverse clientele, including children, adolescents, and families facing a range of mental health challenges. Our focus is on serving those who may be struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. By understanding each client’s unique background and circumstances, you will create a safe and supportive environment conducive to growth and healing.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, ideally in a clinical environment.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance use disorders, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of legal and ethical counseling standards and practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively establish rapport with various client demographics.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 110,000, contingent upon experience and qualifications.
