Overview
Registered Nurse – PCU (Progressive Care Unit) – Travel in Brunswick, GA. Start date: 07/13/2026 for a 14-week assignment. Weekly pay: $1,674–$1,694. Guaranteed hours: 0.0 per week. Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts (3x12). Work setting: inpatient, high-acuity unit with tele-step-down responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to high-acuity PCU and Tele-step-down patients on nights, including monitoring vitals, neuro status, and response to clinical changes
- Manage drips and ventilation for stable patients (stable vents, no vasopressors) with close hemodynamic observation
- Perform accurate documentation in the Cerner charting system and ensure timely, complete patient records
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement care plans, adjust therapy, and escalate concerns promptly
- Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; advocate for patient and family education as appropriate
- Float to Tele/Tele MS/MS when unit staffing requires, adapting to 3-4:1 IMCU and 5-6:1 Tele-M/S ratios with PCT assistance

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license in Georgia or ability to practice per travel requirements (eligibility for licensure in Georgia)
- Experience in telemetry/step-down or high-acuity inpatient settings preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Willingness to float to Tele/Tele MS/MS units as needed
- Cerner charting experience or familiarity with electronic health records
