Medical Director opening in South CarolinaLocated in Orangeburg, SC - Columbia 40m, Charleston 75mFull-time; PermanentFQHCSeeking BC in FM, IM, OBGYN or related specialty Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care (3 days/week) in your specialty. Lead and supervise assigned service lines: nursing, laboratory, women's health, podiatry, and specialty services. Partner with the CMO to implement strategic initiatives, improve clinical workflows, and expand services. Oversee quality improvement projects to meet/exceed UDS and HEDIS targets. Serve as acting CMO when designated. Qualifications: MD or DO, Board Certified in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, OBGYN, or related specialty. Active South Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain). Minimum 5 years of clinical practice, 3 years in leadership, preferably in an FQHC or community health environment.
