About This Role This Associate Director role resides within Carrier’s Replacement Components (RC) business and is responsible for defining and executing the strategy for commercial aftermarket parts. The position supports the transformation of the commercial parts business by establishing a data‑driven, process‑oriented operating model that improves availability, profitability, and OEM parts share. The role requires strong technical knowledge of Carrier’s commercial equipment and the ability to translate market insights into scalable growth strategies. Key Responsibilities Own and lead the aftermarket parts strategy for commercial equipment, including portfolio growth, lifecycle management, and profitability improvement. Own lifecycle profitability across the installed base, driving strategies that optimize pricing, mix, availability, and long‑term margin performance. Establish and scale operating processes across parts introduction, lifecycle management, and demand planning to drive consistent, repeatable execution. Leverage data and analytics to identify growth opportunities, optimize inventory and forecasting, and improve overall portfolio performance. Partner with sales teams to translate market insights into actionable strategies that improve OEM parts share and customer value propositions. Define and support channel strategy, including distributor and service channels, to improve accessibility, availability, and customer experience. Lead aftermarket readiness for new product introductions, ensuring parts availability, pricing alignment, and lifecycle support. Drive lifecycle strategies for legacy equipment, including parts continuity, serviceability, and long‑term profitability. Collaborate across functions within RC and Commercial businesses to align priorities and execute key initiatives. Communicate strategy and insights to internal and external stakeholders, including distributor and customer‑facing engagements. Lead and develop a team of product management professionals, building capabilities in strategic thinking, analytics, and cross‑functional execution. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 8+ years of experience in HVAC engineering, product management, product marketing, or aftermarket roles. 2+ years of experience with commercial HVAC equipment, processes, and installed base. 3+ years of people leadership experience. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Engineering. 10+ years of relevant experience. Demonstrated experience developing product portfolio or lifecycle strategies in a complex technical environment. Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize insights into clear business actions. Proven ability to lead and influence cross‑functional teams in a dynamic environment. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence executive leadership. Experience driving process improvement or business transformation initiatives. Ability to operate effectively in both strategic and execution‑focused environments. Work Environment Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote per week. Pay and Compensation Annual salary range: $143,000.00 - $286,000.00. Position is entitled to short‑term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
