We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team at Bradford Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their dietary needs are met, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment.

About the Role:

• Assist the dietary staff with food preparation, food handling, and serving meals to residents

• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving areas

• Assist with laundry, dishwashing, and other housekeeping tasks as needed

• Monitor and maintain food inventory, including ordering and stocking supplies

• Participate in resident satisfaction surveys and provide feedback to improve dining experiences

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery of care

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve meals to residents in a timely and efficient manner

• Ensure accurate food identification and labeling for residents with specific dietary needs

• Maintain accurate records of food inventory and supply orders

• Assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment in the dining area and surrounding spaces

• Participate in menu planning and testing to ensure quality and variety of meals

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager or Director of Food and Nutrition

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous experience in a dietary or food service setting preferred

• Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in sensitive situations
