License: Valid State License required

Certifications: Required certifications in Blended Learning Services

Must-Have: Charting system experience, Epic experience preferred, ability to provide patient care

Description: Assists in providing physical therapy treatments and performing procedures. May assist in the development of treatment plans in accordance with state laws and regulations. Documents the progress of treatment and modifies specific treatments within the scope of the plan of care established by the supervising physical therapist. Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. Experience working in acute care, outpatient clinic, rehabilitation hospital, and skilled nursing facility is beneficial. Skills in handling assistive devices, gait training, pain assessment, and patient family education are essential. Ability to work with various patient diagnoses including musculoskeletal conditions, neurological disorders, and post-surgical rehabilitation. Experience with rehabilitation techniques and modalities such as e-stim, ultrasound, and cryotherapy is preferred. Demonstrates effective communication skills and ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team. Patients may include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Ability to manage a daily patient census and conduct multiple visits per day.
