This position is responsible for all shipping receiving needs within our company and our farm locations. To be successful in this role the candidate will be able to work independently and within a team. We work together as a team daily and value dependability and reliability. Our team completes their DOT Driver certification through the company upon hire./ph3What Youll Be Responsible For/h3ulliUnload shipment as necessary and route goods to appropriate storage areas/liliEnsure proper paperwork and inspect the quality of goods when receiving/liliEnsure that each received item has arrived at the appropriate location and is accounted for/liliOrganize storage area daily to insure FIFO method is followed (First in first out)/liliPicking finished product required to fulfill customer order/liliDevelop mailing and shipping labels for outgoing products/liliDetermine the method of shipment, prepare bills, invoices, etc./liliOrganize customer orders for easy shipping/liliMay operate machinery when loading, unloading, and transporting goods/liliEnsure proper and reliable communication with suppliers and sales team/liliManage inventory/organization within storage areas to ensure safety and accountability/liliTransport product; Drive a box truck/liliOther duties as assigned/li/ulh3What You Bring/h3ulliExperience with a box truck and forklift driving or willingness to learn/liliAbility to operate machinery, use a ladder, lift 50 lbs./liliValid drivers license/liliAbility to pass a DOT physical certification/liliBox truck driving experience is a plus/li/ululliBasic computer proficiency/liliGood written and verbal communication skills/liliFast-paced worker/liliDetail and quality oriented/liliStrong sense of time organization and urgency/liliKnows safe storage and handling procedures for various materials and goods/li/ulpWorking at 80 Acres Farms/ppAt 80 Acres Farms, we believe taking care of our people is just as important as taking care of our plants.
