Position: Respiratory Therapist Location: On Site at Taylor Regional Hospital, Kentucky Schedule: Part-time, or PRN available - varied shifts 20% Night Shift Differential What You’ll Do Sets up various oxygen devices Administers prescribed meds and treatments Performs chest physical therapy Communicates effectively with patients, families, and other team members. Follows HIPAA compliance. Documents procedures and oxygen usage to correctly capture charges Proficient in analyzing and obtaining arterial blood Reports results and makes recommendations for corrections Performs QC on blood gas analyzers What We’re Looking For Associate degree required. Valid KY Respiratory License Valid NBRC license. No experience required Required to pass Clinical Simulation exam from NBRC Job Demands------ Exceptional Communication Skills Remains organized and professional Maintain accurate and concise documentation Frequent walking, bending, and standing Lift over 50 lbs BLS required through American Heart Association- renewals are included with TRH employment.
