The Director, Bucks 360 provides operational leadership for the College’s Act 101 program, a state-funded initiative serving students who meet established academic, financial, and residency eligibility criteria. This is a 12-month, full-time, grant-funded position. The Director oversees program operations, academic coaching personnel, student recruitment and retention, budget management, grant compliance, assessment, and reporting. Working across the College, the Director coordinates academic coaching, tutoring, mentoring, enrichment activities, and referrals that support student persistence and completion.

Essential Functions

Program Leadership and Grant Administration

• Provide leadership for Bucks 360 in alignment with College priorities, Act 101 regulations, and grant requirements. Develop, implement, and evaluate program goals, services, policies, and procedures. Oversee daily operations and ensure consistent delivery of services across locations and modalities.
• Manage the Act 101 budget and monitor expenditures for compliance with grant and College requirements.
• Prepare required grant applications, reports, budget documents, and supporting materials and maintain accurate documentation related to student eligibility, participation, services, expenditures, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with Grants, Finance, and Institutional Research to support reporting, assessment, and audit readiness.

Student Recruitment, Support, and Programming

• Develop strategies to identify, recruit, enroll, orient, engage, and retain eligible students. Monitor enrollment, participation, and student progress to ensure program goals are met.
• Oversee proactive, individualized support that helps students strengthen academic skills, address barriers, and progress toward completion. Ensure students are connected with appropriate College and community resources.
• Oversee Bucks 360 orientation, academic workshops, cultural enrichment, community-building, and student leadership activities.

Collaboration and Program Development

• Collaborate with faculty, Academic Success, Student Affairs, Enrollment Management, and other College offices to coordinate services and interventions.
• Develop partnerships with community organizations that can provide additional resources and opportunities for students.
• Convene and support the Act 101 Advisory Board, including meetings, program updates, feedback, and planning.
• Serve on College committees and cross-functional teams related to student success, retention, equity, and academic intervention.

Assessment and Continuous Improvement

• Evaluate student participation, academic performance, persistence, completion, and post-graduate outcomes. Assess the effectiveness of coaching, tutoring, mentoring, enrichment activities, and other program services.
• Use program data and student feedback to identify service gaps and guide improvements. Communicate outcomes, accomplishments, and recommendations to College leadership, the Act 101 Advisory Board, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain current knowledge of Act 101 requirements and evidence-based student-success practices.
• Perform other duties related to the responsibilities of the position and program needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education, education, counseling, social work, student affairs, or a related field.
• At least three years of progressively responsible experience in higher education, student success, academic support, advising, coaching, access programs, or a related area.
• Experience supporting students from academically, financially, or educationally underserved populations.
• Experience using student or program data for assessment, reporting, and improvement.
• Strong written, verbal, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, maintain accurate records, and collaborate across departments.
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered practices.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends and travel among College locations as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience administering a state, federal, or institutionally funded student-support grant.
• Experience with Pennsylvania Act 101 or a comparable access or student success program.
• Experience developing academic coaching, peer mentoring, tutoring, Summer Bridge, or student enrichment programming.

Salary Range $66,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience)
