In this role as a Physical Therapist (PT), you will be responsible for a continuum of services providing care to patients with neuromuscular, orthopedic and other physically-related disorders requiring mobility training, strengthening, modalities, specialized manual therapy and neuromuscular reeducation. As a Physical Therapist you will also utilizes rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. While in this position you will assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

Job Requirements

• Previous work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit preferred
• Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred
• Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy required
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, preferred
• Current Colorado state licensure as a Physical Therapist required
• BLS through the American Heart Association required
• Dry Needling Certification or Education preferred

Physical Requirements-Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly

- Schedule: Every Saturday required (weekend premium for applicable hours), plus 1–2 weekdays per week. - Shift Length: Flexible; either 8-hour or 10-hour shifts. - Requirements: Holiday rotation is required.

Penrose-St. Francis Health Services is a full-service, 712-bed acute care provider in Colorado Springs comprising Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Hospital and St Francis Hospital - Interquest. St. Francis Hospital opened in 2008 to keep pace with the growing needs of the Colorado Springs' community on the north side of the city.
