Ambulatory Oncology Infusion RN

The role involves responsibilities in an infusion center focused on patient care. Candidates must have experience with peripheral intravenous insertion and blood drawing skills. Familiarity with accessing, maintaining, and de-accessing central lines is required. Candidates should possess assessment skills for a variety of medical conditions. Ongoing patient education is a crucial responsibility. This position is in a very fast-paced environment, requiring continual patient monitoring throughout treatments. Nurses will need to intervene rapidly in emergent situations. A supportive environment is prioritized to ensure patient-focused care. Preferred experience includes Epic and Beacon proficiency, as well as travel and emergency room experience. Chemo competency in an ambulatory setting is highly preferred.
