Inventory Control SpecialistEssential Functions:Maintain accurate inventory control by following established work instructions and processes.Move materials to and from receiving, production areas and shipping by hand, using sorting bins and carts, or other equipmentUnpack, receive, and stock materials into storeroom location(s)Read work orders to determine material and equipment needs for production cell workIssue critical materials to production cellsComplete the cycle count process for Value Stream; Escalate variances in counts, as neededRespond to unplanned issues with internal customers in a timely mannerPack and ship materials in accordance with contract requirementsAid and/or Backfill coworkers, as needed to complete daily tasksEnsure compliance with export compliance rulesAny other task assigned by supervisor or managementThis description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
